Copyright Claim - Third Party Content

After uploading my first cut, my video received a Copyright Claim by UMG (Universal Music Group) and SME (Sony Music Entertainment) who claimed the rights to the song. The video can still be viewed however, the only penalty being that I cannot make money off of the video.
To combat this happening again, I have contacted these two groups via Twitter and have asked for their permission to upload further videos featuring this song and a awaiting replies.

Editing Update 3

Editing Update 2 - Colour Filter

To help the audience to distinguish when the story is taking place. As I am presenting a non-linear narrative; the audience could easily get confused and not know which part of the story they are watching. Therefore, I have kept the moments in the narrative that are taking place in the present in colour, and I have edited the past moments of the narrative to look black and white, as these colours are commonly used as the colour scheme for flashbacks in media.

Editing Update 1 - Re-timing

Whilst editing my product, I have been forced to retime about 70% of the shots as the times I gave them in the shooting script did not match up with the intended point in the song, this will likely mean that I will have to produce and up to date shooting script with the updated shot durations so that they correctly match up with the times in the video.
